The basis and philosophy of JAX Luxury Salon encompasses our guest experience. Our salon instills in every employee the fundamentals of customer service and the importance of going above and beyond with every guest’s experience and service. In addition to customer service, education is our fundamental foundation for all service providers.
Not only is JAX Luxury Salon a training facility for Fresh Talent to be positively mentored, but a community where service providers are highly encouraged and supported to enrich their career with ongoing education with Aveda Pro. Our team has trained not only in Seattle, but also has received education in New York City, Los Angeles, Minneapolis, Boston and Europe.
Fresh Talent Education Program
All new stylists start their journey at JAX with a 30 day introduction to customer service working with our Guest Relations team. Our graduated approach embodies customer service as a core belief for all employees at JAX. Upon successful completion of the 30 day Guest Relations training, stylists are invited to enter the MONDAYS AT JAX internship program.
The MONDAYS AT JAX internship program embodies core techniques as the beginning stage to the road of mastery. Our intensive 12 week program with our Salon Lead invites each student to elevate their craft and develop organic conceptualization through hands-on experience with models and inspirational interactions with fashion, art and our natural surroundings.
Upon completion on the 12 week internship program, students will begin on the floor as a Fresh Talent Stylist (Level 1) while advancing their foundational education through modernizing form and function by adding disconnection, texturizing techniques and elevating finishing work. All stylists are encouraged to develop their ongoing educational pathways with Aveda Pro to further enhance their education and skill set in cutting edge techniques along with the advanced products from Aveda.
